1st FAI Asian-Oceanic Paramotor Championships (AOPC) 2013 and Asian Beach Game Test Event (ABG Test)
The 1st FAI Asian-Oceanic Paramotor Championships or AOPC is a category I competition that will place in Phuket, Thailand. The event is organised by the Royal Aeronautic Sport Association of Thailand (RASAT) on behalf of Federation Aeronautique Internationale (FAI). The purpose of the championships is to provide good and satisfying contest to determine the champion in each class and to reinforce friendship amongst pilots and nations .
The event will be organised simultaneously with the test event for the 4th Asian Beach Games in November 2014 (ABG), which will be scored separately and includes only the Economy and Precision tasks run in the championships.
The ABG test event is an open competition and some places will be available to pilots from outside the Asia and Oceania regions, trophies will be awarded by the organizer.
Eligibility
The 1st FAI Asian-Oceanic Paramotor Championships (FAI Cat I Competition) are open to all active and associate member countries of FAI in Asia and Oceania regions who may enter 5 pilots plus 1 female pilots in the PF and PL classes, plus 1 wheelchair bound pilot in class PL1.
All AOPC entries are automatically included in the Asian Beach Game Test Event. Subject to a total limit of 100 pilot entries, the ABG Test event is also open to pilots from all FAI or OCA member nations.
Medals and Prizes
FAI Medals will be awarded to
Pilots placed first, second and third in each class
National Teams placed first, second and third
FAI Diploma will be awarded for those placed first to tenth
ABG Test Event Trophies will be awarded to
Pilots placed first, second and third in the precision tasks
Pilots placed first, second and third in the economy tasks
Male pilots placed first, second and third in the combined precision and economy tasks
Female pilots placed first, second and third in the combined precision and economy tasks
National teams placed first, second and third in the combined precision and economy tasks
